I cannot recommend this game enough. Countless hours have been lost immersing myself into the vanilla world on it's own. I started modding the game around 60 hours in. I can safely say this game will forever sit on a pedestal and rank amongst my highest rated games,

There is nothing like micro managing everything to obtain happiness.
There is nothing like playing god with Warcrimes Expanded.
There is nothing like carving your colonists into human leather for misbehaving.
There is nothing like the feeling of losing your favourite colonist without a mech-serum.
There is nothing like building an army of brute to destroy everything in your path.
There is nothing like accidentally slaughtering a thrumbo that took you 2 week of game time to tame.

The list goes on. This game is disgustingly good. To not like it is a Warcrime, punishable by - mangled hands.

10/10 will end up reaching 500+ hours in this game.

Edit: So I'm about to approach my 700th hour. My review still stands. This will likely be the only game I will ever defend against people who have played it for less then 10 hours and called it bad because they lost their colony; or do not know how to play.
