I have not played a lot of VN games, but I kept seeing a lot of good stuff about Steins Gate. So, I figured why not give it a try when it was on sale. I will say this game was great. A little slow at start but it really sets up some great characters, with drama comedy, mystery, and suspense. Some good twists later in the game too.

There are six endings in the game you can unlock, and I was able to get four of them. I would have to play through the game again, probably twice, to get the other two. I will probably just look them up since I have some other games I really want to move onto. If you like VN games or are curious about playing them then Steins Gate is one in my opinion that you should check out. There is also an anime that came out based on the game I plan on watching now.

Update: I decided to go back and work towards the true ending after seeing it was a long video to watch on Youtube and I could just read faster then they would show it.

I will say I am definitely glad I did. It was totally worth it to see everything myself and enjoy the awesome ending to this game. I also cleaned up the missing achievements to get myself 100%. Play through the game once and just enjoy it. A second playthrough you can focus on getting stuff you missed and you can use the fast-forward button to skip through everything you went through already. I look forward to playing the other games in the series even more now.
