This game is beautiful in many ways. For one, the visuals. I love the art direction for this game. The pixelated posterized graphics somehow capture the raw essence of life more than any photo-realistic game. It builds this incredible atmosphere of complete desperation and the horrors of gambling.

The music, the music is just so incredible. The intensity built by the rave afar, the way it picks up after a rush of adrenaline, being shot and brought back to life. The emotions brought on by the ending tracks. Just lovely. I cannot put into words how incredible the soundtrack is.

The cherry on top is the gameplay. It may just seem like a game of luck, but the items put skills into the picture (it's like the opposite of how it is in Mario Kart). The game itself is so simple that it could be played with a deck of playing cards, but the loop is almost as addicting as real gambling.

Me and my brother play this game almost four times a week. It's become our go to thing. My many thanks go out to Mike Klubnika, the one man behind every aspect of this project. Impressive work.
