Sonic is my childhood and this game in particular will always be one of my favourite in the sonic series. The game itself is a port from Gamecube so you will encounter letterbox screens e.t.c with some of the worst animations and mouth movement you'll ever see but if you want to play the game the way it was meant to be played i suggest and recommend downloading the SADX mod, that will allow to convert the textures back to the dreamcast days, but either way if you're new to the gaming scene look into starting off with sonic because you will not regret it
