I hate slider puzzles, I dont know why I got this game, I knew it would be slider puzzles, but I did it anyways, and I have reaffirmed my hatred for slider puzzles.

come to think about it I probably got this game in the humble indie bundle...

I HATE SLIDER PUZZLES.

then they added a "fewest moves" and "lowest time" measure to my slider puzzle hatred, and made it impossible to advance to more slider puzzles unless I exceeded their standard for slider puzzle solving.... I had to efficiently beat slider puzzles to unlock more slider puzzles. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate slider puzzles, you couldn't pay me to go back to this game.

This one will make you think. 2 worlds in and already I am amazed at the ingenuity of this puzzler. that said, other than uniquely brainshatteringly difficult puzzles I don't know what it has to offer.

worth it if you like puzzle games!

Would reccomend, especially if on sale. HOWEVER MAJOR WARNING

DO NOT BE DECIEVED, THIS GAME IS NOT EASY, EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. feel shame when you look at the walkthroughs, however with only 1 "skip this level" option available at any point in time (you can skip, but you have to go back and finish it before you can skip again), you can quickly find yourself between a rock and a hard place. Guides do exist, however I have heard that every single puzzle is solvable.

Yes, I feel much shame, I went to the guides in the very first world. This game will force you into dynamic analytical thought, everything has a set order to be done correctly, and once an action is taken it cannot be reverted in the same flow (you can rewind. which is SO VERY HANDY), I can almost guarentee all of your mistakes will begin at the very first piece of the puzzle. it is so easy to assume a solution, and then pound and pound at it, only to step back and realize that its your solutions entirety that is flawed

AVOID AT ALL COST, WHY IS THIS STILL ON STEAM?

cant even pause it. A few years ago the developer potentially had me writing good reviews about this.... file (I wont call it a game), apparently his programming buddy has gone awol, and this game has been left in the disasterous state it was released in. I would call it a cashgrab, following the success of audiosurf, and while I really wanted to like it, it is complete trash.

2/10, pros: small file, quickly removable, at one point it had promise.

cons: all the rest.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

A few things that it does it does, decently.

This game, and its successor, in my opinion, were attempting to ride the coat-tails of the highly anticipated, and much more highly refined, Dungdeon Defenders. It is a poorly coded, excessively bland, tacky, generic FPS tower defense crossover. The DLC may as well be called "EZ-mode".

the voice acting will grind on your nerves, the enemies are so stupid.... its indescribable. They said they would come out with some multiplayer component (i.e. WTF THE GAME YOU WERE ATTEMPTING TO COPY HAS THIS AS ITS 3rd SELLING POINT, WHY DID YOU NOT INTEGRATE IT?) that would be DLC, but saw that there was enough demand for it that they would just crank out a sequel. That is the kind of developers you are supporting by buying this game. Yes Dungeon defenders has an excess of DLC, however they are still supporting it, this game has been left in the dust less than a year after it was released. The developers should feel shame.

When it comes to listening to an individual song I'd rather use this than windows media player. With the radio you get access to new music and artists that you probablly havent previously heard, often times with pretty catchy stuff!

Dont be fooled by imitations (IM LOOKING AT YOU RAYCATCHER), this is the Queen of the castle when it comes to audio-procedurally based rythem games, mixing bejeweled style match-3 gameplay with tetris and your play list.

A fun, unintended, feature of this game is the leaderboards are synced by song title/artist/album, so if you happen to have the same mix as someone somewhere else on the planet (easily done in this digital age) your scores will only be comapred to theirs. Combined with track-unique comment sections this adds a uniquely structured community.

If you like music, and have steam, and you don't own this game, what is wrong with you?

SO MUCH MOD SUPPORT!!
SO MUCH OPEN ENDED GAMEPLAY!!

SO INTIMIDATING!!

I find myself in a love/cantstand faceoff with this game. whenever I pick it up I am completely immersed, and thoroughly impressed by nearly every aspect.

But one wrong move, one battle turned sour, and I am back to square 0, and left pondering what reason I have to attempt to reach endgame again.

Bow Sword and Shield combat can seem a bit unresponsive to the uninitiated, but once you get comfortable with the controls, timings, and hitboxes you will find yourself merrily hacking through hoards of footmen from atop your horse. or charging headon cavalry against cavalry in fastpaced jousting!

My only suggestion however is that you get warband instead of this iteration, as it (supposedly, this is not firsthand knowledge) is completely standalone and has the awesome perk of multiplayer.

A very intersting puzzler rooted in science. I would reccomend this game to anyone interested in chemistry, or even if you are having trouble learning chemistry and want a different perspective on the subject!

After a while it exits the real world notion of application (my goodness if we could fuse lead into gold so easily!), and some of the final levels/boss stages are downright silly (this game should have nothing to do with turret defense!)

If you take an open and analytical mind to this game you can come to understand and appreciate many every-day process' that we take forgranted. Respiration happens in trillions of instances every day throughout your body, but what happens if the waste is not properly disposed of? complete system failure!

This game has a pretty steep learning curve, I found that I had to start playing from the beginning 3-4 different times before I felt comfortable in the system. Once you master it however it becomes very intuitive, with nearendless depth.

Simple: A+, only 4 buttons, left right brakes and reset, Goal: get from A to B.

Casual: A, I can turn this game on at any time to decompress, however there are some levels that just shouldn't be attempted if you have high blood pressure problems.

Difficulty Scale: C, they mark each level with a difficulty from 1-10, I find those markings somewhat arbitrary, you can accidentally stumble across hidden levels with low difficulty only to find them much harder than stated. *SPOILERS -->* the final level throws such a curveball at you it can only be compared to the final level of Trine. It isn't necessisarily difficult per say, but its a massive shift in the pace of the game.

Replay value: B, you can easily get some of the bonus unlocks your first play through, the bonus tokens are very simple in the early levels, and the unlockable cosmetic modifications to your ship are fun, but it isn't going to bring you back if you aren't into that kind of thing.

ran out of room
summary 9/10mustown
