Where do i begin with Final Fantasy XIII?

This game gives a very love hate relationship. I'll try my best to split the good and bad because i find it easier to point out the bad rather than what i actually like/love about this game. (SPOILERS AHEAD)

Good:

-Square Enix hardley ever dissapoint when it comes to delievering a lore and setting for a Final Fantasy title. The whole L'cie concept and how it can result is to me, original. The design of Cocoon and Gran Pulse feel very natural with the story arch alongside the whole Fal'cie and L'cie idea.

-Music. Now this i can say whole heartedly that Square Enix NEVER dissapoint when it comes to scoring a Final Fantasy game. If i were to give you a taste of why i think it's amazing then listen to this song.

The music in every big Final Fantasy title always make the lore feel very alive and rich, this part of the series that we all know and love is fortunately carried through in this title and i'm sure you'll all enjoy it.

-Game length. While i have 102 hours on my record i truly completed the game in 83 hours and the rest is where i left the game on and fell asleep but Final Fantasy only tracks time i've been actually playing. Final Fantasy is never usually a short game, especially because these titles are in development for many, many years. Don't worry about not thinking you might not get your money's worth out of this game because trust me, you will and there's still another 2 titles ahead of this that you have to play still.

-For the overall goodside i'm still not sure on what makes me love this game even with all of it's flaws (which i state below). I think the character i love the most is Sazh, he's the one who seems like he's the only one who's slightly true to the objective of the game. Getting Dajh back as a father figure is his biggest drive, even though he doesn't seem very driven throughout most of the game because he proclaims himself as "old" and "tired/fed up". Like i said, this game gives a very love/hate relationship between itself and the player.

Bad:

-Snow Villiers.

-A lot of the characters just moan throughout the game and a lot of the lines are pretty tacky/cheesy/cliche. Snow Villiers is the biggest example. Not only is he a cocky character but the majority of his lines are super far fetched about being a "hero" and if it's not that then he's always screaming and crying about Serah and holding that damn crystal tear. I also find Hope to be very annoying throughout the first half of the game, yes he lost his mother but he bottles his emotions towards Snow and starts to give of the vibe of an annoying little emo kid that only has character development because of a dead mother.

-The last boss, Orphan. Not only do you fight barthandelus for the third time in the game but you then go on to fight Orphan straight after without any preperation and by then you might have used all of your TP to even have any left against Orphan. My biggest complaint about Orphan is the attack it uses and it's name ends in "Wrath". I can't express how ******* ANGRY that move makes me. That move has a chance, yes, A CHANCE, of instant killing either you, your party members or nobody at all. I want to put my keyboard through my ******* monitor when i'm close to killing Orphan and i get instantly killed by ******* CHANCE! To put the very final boss fight to rest in review, After you defeat the annoying Orphan you go on to fight Orphan's "final form" which is literally the easiest boss fight ever. Spam buffs and debuffs and Orphan II goes down in like 1-3 staggers.

Overall:

I do recommend this game a lot as it is one of my favorite Final Fantasy titles and because in the ending i felt nothing but relief and i cried tears of joy, but i do warn you of the bad things about this game, seriously.
