Been playing since May of 2017 when the mention of the Left 4 Dead dlc grabbed my attention.

I'm going to be completely honest when I say this game isn't friendly toward new players, you're definitely going to get frustrated when trying to learn how to play because chances are that the other players you're going against already know things that you don't but that's pretty common when first starting out.
Are you wanting to play this because you believe it's going to actually be a scary game? You're very wrong, the scare factor begins to tone down very quickly. If you also are a solo player I wish you luck because a group of friends is stronger than a single person and you might be viewed as the weak target that'll be taken out first due to no coms from the other players within your match. Also don't feel upset about dying as survivor and blame the killer because they are just doing their objective which is to kill you, same as yours is to survive but it wouldn't feel fun if the killer just went afk would it? You have to learn how to loop, how to work as a team, and just survive. Feeling overwhelmed as killer? This is very common since you'll probably be facing a very smart group of friends that can read you like a book with very annoying perks that counter you and there is a very busted mmr system.. but to keep your sanity please remember to take breaks, don't let this game get to you. Also the bugs can be a bit annoying, even game breaking but sometimes funny so just a warning that this isn't perfect. I highly recommend that you play this game with friends and just focus on having fun, don't get mad because you're learning so it's going to take time. As killer don't focus on the fact that you lost, tell yourself you did your best and you can always go to the next match. By the way on't be afraid to look up guides on YouTube if you wanna learn more about the game, there's plenty of them. By the way I'm not saying it's a bad game I'm just being honest with what I've seen and what I've experience so yes I recommend you to give it a chance because everyone has different views, you might hate it or love it.
