Quite of an "old" game, but sexy nonetheless (way sexier than most games these days).
But hey, it's not all about the graphics right?!

Luckily, unlike most "tech-demo" games (Crysis...), this game certainly has the most interesting storyline and ambience ever. And since a good storyline ain't enough to make a game super awesome, the gameplay is just amazing!

Despite the fact that this is pretty much a linear FPS, you kind of end up, on some occasions, getting to chose which way you want to deal with certain things.
For example, you enter a metro station filled with enemies. Do you go in guns blazing? Or do you sneak your way past your foes, killing them (or not)? Because the game has a pretty solid sneaky sneaky gameplay thingy going on!
And just saying, going in sneaky-style is probably the best way, as you can overhear dialogues between NPCs which helps with a certain thing... But I will say no more!

As for the gameplay, as stated above, sneaking around is just great, unlike most FPS games, but if you wish to shoot/explode/cut your way through, the game provides you with an original arsenal, going from the simple knife, to the revolver, the "bastard gun" (sort of a Sten gun), and the quite original pneumatic guns (and more!).
Ammo management is a MUST (especially on higher difficulties) and same goes for your money!

Oh and before I forget, it's sort of a horror game too, with loads of thrilling moments and situations making you wonder if you'll ever finish this game one day! :D
e.g: Running around outside, and managing to break your gas mask, having to find a new one ASAP before dying from asphyxiation! Or entering some alley, and getting hit in the back by a mutant, like !SURPRISE!.

Great game, a must try if you're into post-apocalyptic sci-fi games, or into the genre in general. A must try in any case really, as this is a one of a kind experience.
