I absolutely loved this game's unique combat system, but man it is not for everyone. Sometimes lovingly (or as a criticism) called 'Drunk Souls' Exanima has a deep Physics based... well.. everything. Think QWOP with some parts automated so you arent literally rolling on the floor like youre playing Dr B in Tekken 3.

The game contains two modes at the moment which include an arena mode for you to get competent with the controls (it's a very deep mode too, so its not just a tutorial), and a story mode where you venture trough multiple floors of a dungeon. It should be said that not all NPCs are hostile, even if they are all undead looking - and you may even find a friend. The 1.0 update is just around the corner with the last floor, and the magic system.

To top it all off, this is merely a tech demo for their upcomong open world title Sui Generis.
