238hrs of PVE on my end and loving every minute of it. Some people play too fast, slow down the pace and get a feel for the game or yes farming to make a new ship over and over is going to get you angry! So peeved after seeing how negative the reviews are, only thing I was angry at was the wipe but I didnt put a negative cross against the whole game because of it, it..........is...........EA!
Unlike JabertCul in the comments section who appears to have trouble lifting a spoon to his mouth let alone giving constructive criticism.
PS, loved the Austin Powers reference.
The tax mechanic is an easy out for those that don't want to fight battles they are incredibly unlikely to win. If you want to wrest control of an island from a company it only requires a capturing of their flag (which takes a couple hours)
There is also still plenty of unclaimed land, and individual islands aren't that huge. One grid square is about the size of the ark island and there are four islands per square. There are also plenty of groups that are large enough to have to circumvent the 50 player group limitations. CSTG once again comes to mind.
