Should you buy? Why you should and why you should not.

Campaign

If you want to play the campaign and see the story of black ops 3, first of all if you haven't, start from bo1, second of all the campaign of this game is a dissapointment. Some people like it but as you can see from most of the reviews it is the worst in all of the black ops games and is in one of the worst ones in the cod franchise. Now I can't say its really bad because there are some cool mechanics and weapons, skins for them a really hard difficulty, medals, leveling system and a lot more, its entertaining for the first few missions but when you get into the campaign i cant say its really that interesting from then on. TL;DR if you want the game for the story/campaign don't buy it.

Multiplayer

I haven't played a lot of multiplayer so i can't say much about it but only things i can say are that matchmaking is really slow because pretty much almost no one plays bo3 multiplayer, there are TDM (Team Death Match) lobbies and some other, but they aren't a lot and if you find a lobby, you have a pretty high chance to find a hacker.

TL;DR Multiplayer is almost dead and also its almost full of hackers. So if you really want it anyway, i suggest buying the multiplayer starter pack because i think it only gives you multiplayer.

Zombies

Here comes the good part of this game, zombies. Its like Treyarch send a love letter to the zombies community (a real expensive one but thats for later). If you enjoy zombies, this game will make you enjoy it 100%. The chronicles remasters are beautiful and are really entertaining with a real high replay value of course, the main map "Shadows of Evil'' is one of the maybe top 5 best maps, and is also really entertaining, for a free map its really good. Gameplay wise its also really good, the new weapons are powerful and fun to explore and use, there is a new thing called ''Gobblegums" which make your gaming experience more spiced up, there are mega ones which, you can craft using liquid divinium which you can aquire by buying wall weapons, doors, pack-a-punch etc. , they can make your game crazy! The leveling system is almost perfect, there are a lot of cool camos, either challenge ones or even the chronicles ones, they are really mesmorising. When you level up you feel like you acomplished something good and you feel rewarded, weapon level ups give you optics and attachments, and are really fun to max out. There is also prestigeing, which makes you play more and more, is almost unlimited fun! And if you want to play online there are still a lot of people playing this mode. Now there is also something called workshop maps and they can be really fun, you can do ones yourself with the help of a youtube tutorial, but there are a lot of creators and maps out there and there are still maps that are being created. It can be fun alone, but with friends it a blast (If you have :sob: ).

TL;DR: If you like zombies definitely buy this game, you won't regret it (try to get it on sale). There is a lot of content for you and you can easily get 25+ hours

Is it worth the price?

If you ask me, no, it isn't worth 60$. But the game gets more and more frequent sales and on sale its pretty worth it, and it wont get any cheaper then 35 probably. At the time of writing this review its on sale, so get it!

If you are going to play this game its probably for zombies so get the zombies chronicles bundle, or if you have only the game, 15 bucks at sale for hours of play time is a steal at this point.

TL;DR : Try to get it on sale.

Final verdict

So in my opinion i will give the game a 7,5/10, and if it wasnt for zombies the score would probably be less than 4.5. The idea of the campaign is really good but a bit poorly executed, the graphics for the game are awesome. For an almost 6 year old game, it has aged pretty well, and there is still what to do in it. If you are going to play mostly multiplayer or campaign, maybe buy a different game. And the real part of the game zombies is really entertaining, there are also workshop maps for the best and most fun experience.

TL;DR : If you want to play zombies, this is the way to go, but if you want to play anything else its just not worth it for you, even on sale.
