It is an open-source game engine with a welcoming community that promotes diversity. It is easy to work with. I have been using Godot since 2020 and it has only improved. When Godot 4 was released, it was undoubtedly a difficult time to get into the engine, but things have improved wildly over the last year and a half. A large part of that was the need for a knowledge base. Thankfully, the community has taken to Godot 4 in strides, so there is little that you cannot find out quickly. I love this engine, and I am proud to use it.

The only problem is that if you are a bigot, you get banned from the Godot Foundation's social media. So just be a decent human being, and everything will be good. So take heart that you can use this engine in good conscience.
