Early Access Review
For someone familiar with Vampire Survivors, diving into Halls of Torment felt like coming home. Its smooth blend of RPG mechanics and the classic Vampire Survivors gameplay vibe immediately drew me in. But what truly stole the show were the 90's era animations used in the story cutscenes, echoing the style of old Mortal Kombat arcade cutscenes. This nostalgic flair whisked me back to a bygone era.

After casually sinking around 28 hours into the game over the past few days, reaching level 50 came as a surprise, but a pleasant one at that. I found myself unexpectedly drawn into its engaging gameplay mechanics and beautifully crafted world. Admittedly, my main drive for playing stemmed from the my temporary suspension from WOTLK Classic, which I eagerly await to return to. Nevertheless, this game provided a delightful distraction during that downtime.

Shoutout to Azmongold for hooking me on this game because ever since I dipped my toes in, I've been completely addicted! Vampire Survivors hits the sweet spot with its captivating gameplay, retro graphics, and an amazing community.

All time classic, still play it from time to time in 2022 to relive the good times.

This WW2 squad-based combat simulator is hands down the best of its kind, hardcore through and through. I dedicated a solid 68 hours to it, but eventually decided to retire from the game altogether. Still, I highly recommend it for anyone looking for intense realistic combat in general.

I played this game religiously until I hit the homicide cases, but then my interest started to wane. Fast forward to 2022, and I've finally discovered what I missed out on all those years ago. Trust me, it's worth revisiting. I wholeheartedly recommend giving it another shot, if you did not complete the game.

Playing this game at early access has been a blast, I cannot wait for more improvements, maps, customization's, and workshop accessibility for the game. I'm already telling people to get this game now and early with the added fact it is only managed by one person.

It all started with Mount & Blade Warband, introduced to me by a ex-friend in real life. When Mount & Blade Bannerlord hit early access, I jumped right in and have been hooked ever since. I've been enjoying the game casually, taking breaks here and there. The combat improvements in Bannerlord are phenomenal, and the visuals are seriously top tier.

The developers truly exceeded my expectations with this game. It offers such a realistic experience that it almost transports you into the brutality and intensity of the Vietnam War. It's not for the faint of heart, as it's quite gruesome.

If you're into games like Call of Duty, Team Fortress 2, or Overwatch, I'd advise staying far away from this one. The realism here is on another level, devoid of flashy guns or 360 no scopes.

I did get bored eventually and, just for fun, resorted to purchasing an aimbot, which unfortunately led to my permanent ban from online play. But truthfully, I was already done with the game by that point. However, if you haven't tried it yet, it's definitely worth it.

If you're a fan of GTA V, this game makes for a worthy contender. While it's vastly different, there are striking similarities. Imagine GTA V set in the Vietnam era, with way less customization options but a slightly better story.
