Rome 1 Total War used to be my favourite game of all time. While the initial release of Rome 2 was a nightmare to be quite frank.

Creative Assembly have worked incredibly hard to patch the crap out of the game. What do we have now you ask? An amazing strategy game set in the most interesting period of World History.

If you have never played a Total War game before, Rome 2 is a fantastic place to start. The game has been streamlined, yet kept its strategically focused campaign map and tactical brilliance of the battlefield.
