If you are an old fan of classic JRPGs and in love with the Story of Breath of Fire franchise. Primarily Breath of Fire 1 & 2 on the SNES/Gameboy and Breath of Fire 3 on the PS/PSP. Then you should know that the world design and basic scenario of Dragon's Dogma were created by Makoto Ikehara, a veteran of the Breath of Fire series. And you should definitely try it. This game is somewhat of a spiritual successor to the Breath of Fire series, a series which was brutally murdered after the Third Game.

Now, that was just my bias referring to the Story, World and Lore elements only.

Moving onto gameplay, simply put its a fast paced hack and slash action combat game with quite a few flashy abilities. It has a very standard Class System, with the traditional Warrior, Mage and Rogue roles, or a mix of any two, though that's me making things sound a bit too simple. The combat is just... very fun.

I don't have much else say, just that its definitely worth the asking price.
