Easily one of the best racing games ever created.

Cartoony tower defense. Relatively open builds, limited towers. A classic easy to learn, hard to master kind of game. Definitely worth $5 if you like TD games.

EDIT 11/2019: DO NOT BUY! Uses Quicktime which has been obsolete for some time and is vulnerable to exploit, potentially. Cant continue to recommend a game that requires obsolete and vulnerable accessory software.

Interesting tower defense title. The story is vaguely creepy as you are reclaiming a little boy's memories from "Shad'o" a murky mess of shadow and gloom. This is one of the more challenging TD titles Ive played. As with every other game - its worth buying, just not at full price. Wait for a sale and enjoy.

My first foray into the "modern warfare / battlefield" genre. Well worth picking up on a good sale if youre an FPS fan. The single player campaign is short but quality. I suppose the real attraction of this game was/is the multiplayer but I have no comment on that; not interested in multiplayer on this particular title.

Basically a variation on the 80s arcade game "Qix". Well worth $0.99.

A slightly different take on the Zombie Apocalypse at a tropical resort somewhere in the Pacific, though as you play through the game it feels a lot more like the Dominican Republic or perhaps Hati is a better comparison as it is a real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ outside of teh resorts. The game is good looking and the melee combat is quite possibly the most graphic violence I've seen in a game. Vaguely interesting zombie types, good skill trees allow character development but the combat gets boring relatively quickly. Interesting multiplayer mechanic - the game tracks everyonbe whos playings location, like GPS, when two or more users' positions coincide in game you have the option to join another session making multi and single player basically seamless-very cool. This game seemed to have a lot more potential when viewing the very dark trailers so Im glad I didnt buy it new in September and managed to grab it for $20. Well worth that price, but no more.

Updated 2014: This game, including DLC, has the best/creepiest atmosphere of any FPS Ive played since the original Half Life was released and in that regard it is actually better. The game engine is a little clunky dated now, but the atmosphere still stands up. This one is still worth playing getting on to near a decade later.

Both DLCs now come with the game. Extraction Point is a continuation of the original game, though the engine seems to have regressed with no native widescreen resolution support. That is easily remedied by editing the cfg file.

Project Origin is a side story to the game and other DLC. You are a part of a separate FEAR team sent in the Armacham facility on a reconnaissance / data collection mission in parrallel with team #1.

The overall story here is execellent. Use of what now seems to be a pretty dated game engine still holds up to make you jump in your seat.

Play in the dark, with headphones on, on a harder difficulty and I guarantee you will ♥♥♥♥ yourself a few times playing through this content.

As of 8/2023 the game has been upgraded for modern machines and the original music restored. A new mission pack has been added for free nearly 30 years later. Very large props to the devs who own it now for this work and NOT adding a new store listing for a new version. They upgraded the version in place that Ive owned forever.
