FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!

got this game through humble bundle to play with a friend, finally unlock multiplayer and go into the social menu to join my friend. game crashes immediately. happens for my friend as well. he said if you switch to the friends tab it wont crash, do that and it still crashes. WB and epic fgames stay failing.

i cant believe i hadnt written a review when i played htis game, but from what i recall i streamed this game on twitch to a grand audience of 0 to 3 members. and no matter what i still wanted to stream the game till i had finished it. Not because i was torturing myself, but because i was just so engaged with the game that i didnt want to put it down. if you havent experienced this game, please give it a try.

while not as long as the original supraland, its still just as engaging. i love the twist ending at the end that plays homage to that, "do we really just let the player get away with this?" its amazing and i hope they make more games like supraland.

just like the original supraland, once i started playing i just couldn't stop. idk what it is about these games but they definitely check every box that keeps me engaged. i cant wait to see more from this dev team and what ever is next for supraland.

I've played the game for two hours, and I've got some likes and dislikes.

I love the aesthic of the game, the controls feel nice, and the games heart warming. The friend system is a little confusing at first, but turns out you need to finish your first constellation and return home before you can join friends. Aka finish the tutorial.

Now there are some dislikes and thats basically just not being able to join my friend right away, and the NEAR CONSTANT SPAMMING OF THE SERVER ERROR MESSAGE. You get spammed this message the first time the game lets you go online, sometimes during the game when your exploring, and when you relog into the game. It's literally turning this beautiful game into a very annoying and time wasting experience. So much so, that I really don't want to recommend this game till it's fixed.

PLEASE DEVS, FIX THIS ISSUE ASAP!!!

Ya know, I would have recommended this game at launch, it's loads of fun, there aren't any predatory practices, and it's just an all around blast to play. But lately, Ah and Sony have just been making some absolutely ♥♥♥♥ calls. Sony is notorious for its weak system being easily hackable, and Arrow Head makes any weapon in game less appealing with serfs, while seeming to ignore bugs that have plagued the game since launch. Each update there are around 15 "known-bugs" posted at the end of each patch note and that list has grown from since the first patch with several patches having the exact same bugs listed in the same or different order. I can't, in good faith, recommend this game to anyone with these underlying issues being a thing.

The "known bugs" list shouldn't be getting longer, or at least it shouldn't be staying the same with each patch. And Sony needs to work on its cyber security.

first couple of games where fun if i had it set to english speaking lobbies only, turn it off to actually play a game and get called N****** and then knocked out with a wine bottle every time i stood up by the same guy who never let me to pick up a new bottle. obvious hacker. ♥♥♥♥ this game.

this game, while in early access, was really fun. kinda bare bones on lore.

graphics are great.
combat is great

no custom characters or character designs

and instead of adding that they added epic games online service overlay instead of using steams. well, i'm uninstalling have a good day.

i'd give this game 4 out of 5 stars.

only because there are a few things i think this game could do better with. first off, the character creation menu. this game is an rpg, and yet there are games that are 10+ years older and a 10th of the size with better character creation. there's like 8 faces per race to choose from, but thats split between genders, so really there is 4 faces. no sliders so you cant customize the face too much. you cant adjust details about the body beyond what kind of genitals you have. and there's like 5 options for ♥♥♥♥♥ and 2 for vagina's. and from there you can either be short male, or short female, or tall male, or tall female. there is no height adjuster beyond this. hair and eye colors have the most options out of all. hair styles are either way too boring or way to outlandish.

character creation gets a 1 out of 5 stars basically.

and the only other thing i'd like to talk about is the micro managing. i get that this is an rpg in a DnD setting. but i'm here to play as my character, while i like the combat where i can choose what attacks my companions use, i'd rather them decide what they want to use, as well as level up themselves. i dont go to DnD sessions to micro manage my friends character sheets, and i def dont want to do that in this game either.

other than that, the game plays well and has a mostly interesting story.
