God, what a master piece. Just get it. A wonderful game and a wonderful story, what more can you get?!

It is a nice game. not perfect but not bad at all.

The dev team is very nice and connected with the community, this helped this game get more and more polished with every patch.

i would say 7,5 / 10.

FU Garbagebox. Greedy feces. Obnoxious scum ad garbage in the main menu just to sell their garbage games.

MULTIPLE TIMES they added their ad/malware and broke the game now. DONT BUY ANY 2K OR GEARBOX PRODUCT!

Cant give it the same score as BL1. It is a nice upgrade, but they could have done more. I love the buy all ammo and every other change, dont get me wrong, but i am missing a difficulty slider.

The scaled money (you get more early on) as well as the bonus weapons are making the game even easier, you are practically forced to use underleveled gear to have a somewhat challenging experience.. :/ damn so close to perfect.

that would be somewhat around 9,5/10..

but..

they ruined the moxxi billboard in t-boner junction.. well.. not anymore as you can guess..

so.. 5/7..

TLDR: A short, but decent-ish made game.
Do i recommend it? yes. Full Price? Absolutely not.
Get it when it's on sale.

Long Story:
Pros:
- Well done artstyle and lore!
- okayish maps
- Nice Soundtrack
- Nice game mechanics overall
- Nice story line
- very good voice acting (okayish writing)

Cons:
- not worth the money
- story too short, even with DLC
- no ability to sell items to shop (still?)
- bad balance in the loot / rewards / shop items. (better with dlc, still bad)
- shop gets useless if you do the side areas (still true)
- too many performance issues (stuttering when encountering enemies / puppeteering them) (yep)
- meh difference in character design and skill trees
- little bit too many voicelines when fighting (seems less, but still there, calling out every attack..)
- broken balance on higher difficulty modes. bullet sponges you can only defeat with abusing perma-stuns
- progress doesnt properly save some times and you can "redo" locations
- exclusive decisions breaking achievements
- bad control scheme
- similar armor fallacy as Phoenix point (not as bad though)
- no kit switching when switching chars

overall this game is okayish, but there are way to many little things that clearly show this was not polished, nor playtested by gamers.

This is one of the best games ever made with a really nice community, insanely good modding, a phenomenal base game and polished beyond belief.

Just F You, subhuman scum devs/publishers.

Filling everything with bloated adware, making the play buttons grayed out, not fixing the game, but just adding stuff to sell, not implementing most wanted features, only cosmetic low level sheet that is outdone by most mod-armors/buildings.

TLDR: greedy AF devs dont care about making a good game but selling their crab for maximized profit.

My old review stayed true:
"Wait till the devs stopped wasting resources and fixed the game. maybe pick it up for 10$ or below. else it is not worth the money. especially if these trends - making the game worse with every patch - keeps going."

If you have too much free time - get this. it will suck out your time, soul and heart.

Be prepared, you might get addicted and it has a high risk of causing "fun". :)

Cheap copy of Ark - Survival evolved.

Cleary this map did it like some Politician.

No idea of how to work, but still won the contest.

pros:
fancy effects

cons:
dumb landscape features
no real transitions
no real / good base building spots (scenic spots, spots with most resources available, big spots >20x20 foundations)
dumb resource placement
overview map made by 5yr old with ms-paint
ret4rded dino spawns placement
no real "danger curve" (since most predators spawn near or on beaches)
mapmaker clearly has no idea of how to make a map (balance, terrain transitions, terrain features, thoughts about PVE and PVP)
"fast" harvest to "reduce" lag still causes same amout of lag, just without the animation..

map dlc installation totally ret4rded (at least that seems to be Wildcards fault)
map got official with only a couple of votes more with so much less features (thats also arks fault, they should get knowledge on map balance and looked at this piece of crap from a mapmaker / balance standpoint)


Installation guide:
1) be into steam beta or get into it
2) get out of it to install
