- Set your profile to public. Unless you have a way of contacting me outside of Steam first to inform me who you are, do this. Scammer/phishers are known to set their profile to private, so I'm going to be cautious about this sort of thing and will suspect anyone who adds me with a private profile to be a scammer. Your friend request will be ignored if your profile is set to private unless I know who's adding me.
- Not interested in trading. Too busy to determine the value of certain things at the moment. My earbuds, Bill's hat, cards, etc are staying where they are for now. Adding me for trades currently isn't an option. If you're going to add me anyways despite reading this, don't expect me to reply nicely.
- Don't invite me to groups, please. I'm not interested in you or any of your friends announcing a thousand things and blinding the bottom right corner of my screen in the process. If your group doesn't do that otherwise, avoid inviting me anyways. Excessive groups would eventually lead to such a result anyways.
- Don't add me if you're going to be begging me for games or items. I'm not a guy who owns things like yachts and so forth, so I'm not able to throw that kind of money around to someone I rarely know. Even if I did have that kind of money, I wouldn't be spending it on someone that I don't even know the personality of, outside of their -needs-, and not their -wants-.

I'd rather not describe myself, often times people tend to be the opposite of how they describe themselves sometime.
