EDIT: Developers listened to my complaint and you can now skip cut scene celebrations!

A solid arcade type football game for people who lean more towards NFL Blitz than Madden (1995-Present)

I mainly play couch co-op, and for that it is a solid experience. I have tried a couple games in the various league/single player options, but it is indeed a grind compared to other sports games in this genre. For instance, you have to complete games and be awarded virtual currency to purchase packs to increase the quality of football players on your fantasy team. It takes several full games played to even get to the point of purchasing a pack, and you will be rewarded possible football players that are only marginally better than what you start with. i.e. your team is an average of 48/100, after around 10 games played, you may now be a 49/100.

I didn't put enough time in to test the exact math, but it has to be close to that example.

Aside from this, the game play itself is fun and feels moderately challenging. Some of the wildcards are better than others, some make no sense at all. The one main request I would make to devs is to give the option to turn off cut scenes after plays. If you play one full game of football, you will see one of your players drop to the ground and make snow angels in the grass no less than 10-15 times, and it is unskippable.
