I enjoyed it as much as Far Cry 3. My story progress was mixed—sometimes playing in co-op but mostly Rambo-style. Playing in co-op was absolutely nuts and fun. We go blast, we found glitch or bug, we do dumb ways (sometimes it goes dumb ways to die).

It gave me a fresh experience with its world and characters. The game is set in the fictional Hope County, Montana. I loved the beauty of the landscape, which is rich with forests, rivers, lakes, mountains, and small towns. Sadly, there are no sea predators or fishes, so the lake looks bland. The world divided into 3 regions, each controlled by one of Joseph Seed's siblings with different specialties. Speaking of which, I quite liked the characters of Joseph and his siblings—charismatic, disciplined, manipulative, and sadistic. Joseph Seed quite reminds me of Vaas from Far Cry 3.

Gameplay has slightly differences, but still the same Far Cry formula. Do story missions, side missions, liberate areas, and random encounters to increase resistance points. As you progress, you'll face Joseph's siblings. You can go blaze or you can go silent for bonus money. Hunting and now you can fishing (?), and you can recruit special companions by completing their missions first.

A small tip to get perks easily is by doing Prepper Stash missions—you'll get at least three perks per completion, and some of them have easter eggs.
