Gone, but not forgotten.
The Forest Quartet tells a story of a jazz band struggling with loss. The band is called The Forest Quartet (as the title suggests). You play as Nina, a band member who has passed away. As a spirit, Nina helps her band members cope with their mental struggles and prepare for a farewell concert.

The game is really short, only takes 1 hour. You travel through three chapters, each featuring different mechanics and conversations with the band members. The game indeed includes puzzle elements, they aren't too difficult, but I feel the game more focuses on the emotional story of finding motivation after a significant loss.

I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be a well-spent hour for a short emotional story, considering its price of around $0.60 at this year's Independent Games Festival. For the best experience, it is recommended to play with headphones.
