This is the best escape room puzzle game there is.

Just on its own, the base game contains 20 high-quality rooms. Clues are clearly marked, all the objects and scenery look nice, puzzles are clever and sometimes mark what to pay attention to to solve the puzzle (which is nice to not have to guess). That's value right there (maybe not $20 of value but they don't stop there).

Then, they've added a whole bunch more rooms over time (some free straight into the game, some free DLC, some paid DLC). These are all just as good, if not better, than the base game rooms. More value.

But one of the most valuable points is the Community rooms. Any level-based game gets a huge value boost with user-made content. Some of these rooms are better than others, but there's still many tens or hundreds of high quality rooms for many hours of extra free content.

And it's got multiplayer. My friend and I spend all our playtime together doing tons of rooms. We've gone through all the developer rooms and many tens of community rooms. We regularly play DLC and extra rooms on the day they come out. Their netcode isn't great sometimes, but it's usually not an issue.

Adding everything up, Escape Simulator has a really high hour-per-dollar rate, and I've had a lot of fun in those hours.
