Weekly Tournaments, Discord Server & Other info!

Hey there guys!

We're pleased to announce a weekly tournament that will take place on Saturday evenings every week at 7pm CST (UTC - 6)! This has been in the works a long time so we hope you'll enjoy it!

How it works:

Seth Grey will ref the games so the rulings can be impartial (should a need for this arise) and winners will get points based on their standing, (For example: 1st: 3, 2nd: 2, 3rd: 1.).

A leaderboard will be sticked on the WoW TCG Subreddit and updated weekly. In addition after the first tournament new once a tournament rules will come into play such as you can only use cards from X-Y-Z block or you cannot have any allies in your deck, or a sealed tournament.

The official WoW TCG Subreddit

The WoW TCG Subreddit is the first of hopefully many external communities we will use to facilitate discussion, conversation & help / strategy within the WoW TCG Community in TTS - so we encourage you to subscribe and participate!

Stay tuned for additional news on the Subreddit and any branches of this group external to Steam.

Official Group Discord!

OSH and I have set up an official Discord for this group. Discord is a free voice chat app that can be downloaded here.[discordapp.com]

To join our server simply click this link[discord.gg] to be automtaically directed to our group within the Discord app. The benefits here are two-fold. This will facilitate easier communication between our members (since nobody is ever in the group's chat) - simply PM a user in Discord and see if they want to play - or hang out in some of the voice channels and either wait for more to show up or reach out to others with the Discord private message / chat system.

Please do not hesitate to ask me for any questions on usability or functionality of Discord. Be aware that there will be multiple text chat channels (indicated by the # sign) as well as several voice channels.

And finally...

Looking for moderators!

The group is growing. And with that comes the need for some additional hands at the helm. I'm looking for a few moderators to assist with the day to day group management.

A moderator will need to be able to...

• Report problem memebers to me to resolve issues (this shouldn't be too much of an issue. We have a great community but as it grows we just need to be mindful that some bad eggs may get in)
  
  
• Organize a minimum of one non-recurring event per month. This role will be expanded on in the near future and the moderators and myself will be in frequent communication to ensure events are populated, smooth & not overlapping other events.
  
  
• Help us expand! Tell your friends! All members should already be doing this but I'd like moderators to put a bit more effort into it. Promote us on Facebook, your Twitter, your blog, Youtube channel - whatever the case may be - promote the group and try to help us grow!

This list will grow over time as more needs arise. Be mindful that being a moderator will hold you to a higher standard and attendance to events, a positive attitude and a willingness to help and grow the group are a must.

Please contact me for any questions about becomming a moderator. If you're interested, drop me a message on Steam with why you want to be a moderator, what you bring to the table and how you plan on expanding the group if you're made a mod. Also tell me about any previous or current moderator / leadership positions in any other online or real life communities / groups.
