Still Wakes The Deep is a psychological horror WS with 'hide and seek' and chase mechanics. If you die you don't lose your progress, you reappear seconds before the event (in a safe spot, thanks to auto-save).

⚠️Note: this one is being talked about as if it were a walking simulator, but I'm not sure that's the case. 🤔

🔷You are an electrician working on an oil rig in the middle of the ocean (takes place in the 70s). An incident partially destroys the structure and you try to get out safely with the other crew members while dangerous and abnormal phenomena are happening.

To be honest I wasn't very motivated to play it. I mean the plot seemed interesting and I was curious but I had bad preconceptions about it: the fact that the story takes place on an oil rig didn't really appeal to me, and the 'hide-and-seek' mechanics didn't motivate me at all (I hate that kind of thing!).
In the end, it was a great surprise, in a good way. A masterpiece, IMO.
-The graphics are good, the voice acting is perfect.
-The sound effects are incredible (the atmosphere is just crazy!). I was terrified during most of the game.
-This game contains verticality: ladders, stairs, jumping, climbing, etc.
-There is a "story mode" (=easy mode) but you need to be careful because you can die in this mode as well. I was so scared I ran everywhere and I kept running when I could but for what I understood in the end it wasn't an obligation in "story mode". I was so scared. XD
-The plot is lke a horror film from the 80s and I enjoyed it a lot.
