A lot of people abused this feature. I took multiple hiatuses from this game and every time I came back, it was impossible for me to find a game by the end of the month. I was blocked out of at least 60% of the games I was invited to by people I did not even recognize.
The pubstompers who spammed "block player" after every game they got reversed were way more apparent than those who blocked people who were genuine ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, BMing them for no reason, or griefers.

its not the blockers that are killing the game, its the aholes. Block list enforced, this group is a joke. Admin blocked.
^This guy called me a cheater and blocked me back when i played this game regularly. People like him killed this game.
I only block certain kinds of players:
Dillholes who act like immature 12 year olds.
Teamkillers.
People who can't show basic human decency toward the people who chose to spend time with them.
People who devastate a team and then end the game with going 'ez'.
Why become a complete asshat the second they're safely tucked behind the anonymity of a monitor and keyboard?
I keep my block list intact from now on. These kids won't learn in 5 years ++.
It contains a fair share of proven ***holes, but I'm wiping it anyway. Some could've changed, some are forgotten, most don't really matter.
I hope someone else can do the same. The blocking feature ruins more than it solves, serves as a good grief tool (block someone who crashed so they can't rejoin opposing team, for example), and segregates an already notedly small community.
Unblock someone today, and ask your friends to do the same :D
