Team Fortress 2 Server Community

To the original admins of the server, here are a few things you should know:

1. Swixel's taking a break from the Source scene, and I for one will miss his contributions to "extending" the server's feature set. He's kindly left me with a copy of his source code, which I'll be extending to make it safer and more "user-friendly".

2. Ownership of the server has changed. Henceforth, I'll be making authoritative decisions.

3. The server will be moving to a more commercially viable donations model. Tiers under consideration will range from $1/month to $10/month, with varying degrees of power and utility (e.g. access to server bookings). Note that pricing may be subject to change. Existing admins may be orphaned under the new system as a gesture of goodwill; however, that is not a promise.

4. While I quite like "The Gentlemen" as a motif, the server's name may have been tarnished irreparably as a result of past indiscretions. Thus the server will most likely be rebranded; part of this process will involve the disbandment of existing "Gentlemen" groups that point to the server.

5. In a bid to distinguish itself, the server will be exploring various themed mods, and tying them to weekday. Under consideration are: projectile roulette, prop hunt and pyro tennis. Suggestions are welcome.

Time frame for these changes should be a month. Everything should be running smoothly by the end of October.
