Plan of action after the wipe
When is the Wipe?
The wipe is going to be Tue, 6pm CST, 1/27

Base Scouting Ideas
  • Devil's for intial
  • Klen (near Northern spawn, has windmills too)
  • Back to Hill 367 (aka windmills)

Immediately After Wipe
  1. Split up, maybe a couple two 3-4 man groups together, until we can build one big group
  2. find weapons/hatchet/chainsaw/building materials
  3. find vehicles/helo
  4. get close to $800 crypto to unify groups ($300 for 5-6, $500 for 7-8, ?? for 9-10)
  5. Laygo will be the group leader. I'll make others group moderators asap (when the mod allows, etc)

After Finding Supplies
  • Find material to build FJ at Devil’s ASAP (2 large salvage (6 small salvage or 12 metal scraps) + 2 electronic components)
  • We’ll also need a hatchet or chainsaw (for wood)
  • We’ll need to build 1 floor to secure the devil’s tower roof
  • We’ll need 2 stage 1 walls we move manually until we can build locking doors (1st door secures the tower/jammer, the 2nd, will secure the ‘vault’ (ground level room)

Building Requirements
Locking doors require the following stages:
  1. 1 wooden stud wall (4 lumber packs) + 1 salvage metal
  2. 1 lumber pack
  3. 1 lumber pack + 1 salvage metal
  4. 1 salvage metal + electronic component

Total: 6 lumber packs, 3 salvage metal small, 1 electronic component PER DOOR

Frequency Jammer Requirements
To build a FJ, it requires:
  • 2 Large salvage metal
  • 2 electronic components

To get large metal from metal scraps or small metal salvage:
  • 1 large metal = 3 small metal
  • 1 small metal = 2 metal scraps

So, in other words, it takes 12 metal scraps or 6 small metals to build a FJ!

Frequency Jammer Placement
We've tested that a jammer in a building will fit in a 1x1 square laying on it's side. What we'll need is several people that know how to build & HAVE ENERGY be nearby to pickup a frequency jammer laying on it's side WITHOUT righting it. We want it laying down so it's hard to shoot from the ground.

The testing we did ended up throwing the FJ outside the building & we couldn't get to it before it set. Once it sets, we're screwed. So, it'll be a all hands on deck scene when trying to place the FJ.

Building Ideas
I've floated these images by several members & they all seem on board. My idea was inspired part by our existing base at windmills & this scene from Empire Strikes Back.[keithburgun.net]

I want our jammer in our new main base to be secluded from all other rooms. We might store very valuable stuff in it, but it's going to be very hard to figure out how to get to it. I'll try to explain with pictures.

Overall base idea[lh3.googleusercontent.com] (FJ is Frequency Jammer placement)
This is my idea for the overall 'living space' of the base. Each square is about 5x5 squares big, & of course the four outer quadrants aren't going to be perfectly 5x5 usable, but it'll make sense when it's in progress.

This is a zoom of the FJ 5x5 grid[lh6.googleusercontent.com]
This shows the the top down view of the FJ center section. It will be at least 3 stories tall. The diagonal lines are free space, meaning if they try to drop in from above, it's a 3 story fall. There is a crosswalk out to the FJ tower which will be a 1x1x1. The free space around it is 3x3 & finally the outer halls that can only be accessed from a single staircase is 5x5. (it might not make sense now, but it will soon)

And finally a cross section of the FJ placement[lh6.googleusercontent.com]
On one corner, the 3rd floor will have an entrance to the FJ core. You go down 3 stories to the bottom floor, walk around the ring to another set of stairs that goes up to the 2nd floor & walk around the ring to the FJ door to be able to pay maintenace.

If it sounds confusing, then good, because imagine what it'll be like if you try to raid it.

Speaking of Maintenance
You only have to pay once a week. I propose we start paying on Sundays & keep it consistent. So, make plans to have krypto handy by SUN. It's going to be expensive! Probably 200 or more . . .
