The future of Scythian

Hello there! It's been quite a while since anything has been done here, and that's fine in my book.

But now it's time for change.

How are we as a whole, the ten people we are, change this group? I'll tell you.

As with any group, people are the most important part. What we're looking for here are kind and friendly people who want to kick back and enjoy a game with fellow kind and friendly gamers. There's something different I want to do here, though.

Usually, with large gaming groups, admins and mods set the times for events and everything. Sure here we'll set some, but that leaves time for you to schedule some. If you let us know what game you want to host an event for here and what time it's at, we'll post it. We want people to have as much fun as possible.

Of course, with out ten people though, that doesn't give us much, but that's where you come in. Invite people. We're aiming to be friendly and fun, not a burden. That gives you no excuses to invite your friends to an event or into the group. As we expand, we'll provide more things for us to do, and that includes servers... Which brings me to...

Servers

Currently, a server is out of my budget, but I do have a lot of bandwith and nearly enough parts to build a seperate computer. This means I could have a machine running dedicated to a server of the communities choice. Nothing terribly big, but it would be something. In my situation, I can't really do much else. If you guys want to chip in to help buy a server, contact me or Double Agent and we'll work things out. If we expand of course, this can be more easily achived.

Starting now, start communicating with the people around you about getting them into the group or trying to schedule some game time! We do have a tag, [SGC], but you don't have to wear it if you want to.
