Welcome to the Rusty Cage server for Rust! We use the [Oxide] modding API to power our server's modding needs. We enforce no hacking/no cheating on this server, with no admin abuse.

Hi all! Well the Rust devs finally pushed a new update for Rust, which consisted mainly of bug fixes and some graphical updates. Nothing major really, anistropic filtering looks nice and shadows are less 'jumpy'. Some trees look better, so that's cool :)

The biggest news is that The Rusty Cage has finally been wiped this morning! After a period of nearly a week with 1-2 logins a day by random people, I decided it was time to go ahead and wipe the server so everyone can start new or have a level playing field. Also, the modding API we've been using for the Cage [Oxide] has not been updated at this time so the server is running vanilla until further notice. Cheers and see ya on the island!

Server Downtime!

First off, let me apologize for the server being down right now! It went down this morning (I believe) due to an update pushed to the server from the host without them rebooting it. In any event, the server is up right now but I am in the midst of performing reboots and updates on the server. The good news is the new version of Oxide is out now, so I am pushing that to the server now. I expect the downtime to be an hour or less from the time of this post. Cheers and see you in game!

Ebb, there are hackars running rampit on the server. almost 30 regular players now, and tons are quitting because of hackers... Please, come back or give someone ADMIN controlls so we can still have fun.......

As long as Lead is playing this server I will not. The constant harassment and abuse has become to much to deal with, and to stressful. As for Ebb, he is an absolutely amazing admin. Hopefully I find another server with people like him. Otherwise it is a wonderful server, and loads of fun to play.
