now a little bit info over alien swarm:
Alien Drones are one of the smaller creatures of the swarm aliens, but they come with a mountain of delectable meat and flavor. Experienced chefs can make a complete dinner for three using just one specimen. Alien Drones show great promise in the world of cooking with a multitude of flexible recipes, as well wondrous condiments and a delicious marinade.
First, skin the creature. Although edible, the skin contains no nutrients and is completely flavorless. Also, it remains an unpleasant sickly green color and retains its slimy texture no matter how thoroughly cooked, which offsets most dinner guests. Underneath the skin you'll find that the drone's body has a unique shell encasing its innards. Carefully crack the shell with a large mallet or meat tenderizer. The entire exoskeleton-like structure should completely shatter. Don't worry about cleaning up, the pieces should disintegrate into dust within a few hours and be easily cleaned up with a broom or literally burned out during cooking.
You'll find that Alien Drones have four claws. However, the claws are inedible, with unpleasant side effects including explosive bowel movements, hysteria, intense vomiting, bleeding from orifices (including tear ducts and pores), sight loss, constant ringing of ears, mild headaches, bloating, indigestion, tummy aches, and death. However, when separated from the body, the claws contain a curious light-green liquid that turns a pale blue when boiled. This oil should quite literally pour out from the four individual claws like a cup full of water, made easy because of the claw's unique curved shape.
