Playing Matters is a group created for people who believe in playing wins from SteamGifts and follow this as a principle.


We wish to gather people who have already beaten at least half of their wins. When it comes to people with less than 10 won games we'd rather see more than that. In this case it would be ideal to have all won games beaten, but we judge each case individually. If you have any trouble beating a game you've won, please say so in your application. We approach each application with care and we are ready to have a detailed look into each win.

Please note that our minimum requirement of 50% played wins must be maintained at all times to continue being a member of our group. Because we are not interested in members who only take care of our own group wins but keep on hoarding unplayed wins outside of it.

We wholeheartedly recommend to register in BLAEO[www.backlog-assassins.net]. This is a useful tool for handling Steam library and planning backlogs. BLAEO normally runs a recruitment thread on SteamGifts.

We will be using Kelnage’s script[www.steamgifts.com] to check members as well as their BLAEO[www.backlog-assassins.net] profiles should they have it. We will also be checking profiles to detect any suspicious activity such as use of SAM etc.

In order for us to do these checks during recruitment to invite members as well as during membership to see if any rule is being broken, all Steam profiles and game details must be set to public from Steam privacy settings.
