PHILOSOPHY AND RULES -------------------------------------------

Phoenix Shipyards exists to improve the design skills of those within it. One should only consider joining Phoenix if they are open to constructive feedback on their designs.

That being said, insults are not tolerated in Phoenix Shipyards, and we place honor very highly. Those who join should work to maintain the honor of the guild, as well as hold each other to that honor. Criticism should only come in the constructive sort.

We follow a philosophy that failure is simply a way to achieve success. Every failed design is simply one step closer to a successful one, and each delete of a ship occurs so a better one may take its place.

In short, the rules are simple:
Respect other players and their designs
If playing multiplayer - no trolling or griefing
You are free to join any other guild
There is no true leadership, we are all equal as designers. Do not treat Dark Lord as one who is over you.
Give credit where it is due - do not claim designs that are not yours and mention those who helped you build something.
Keep things professional and avoid vulgar comments or designs

If you wish to build your ships or personal faction in a way that ties in with the Phoenix lore, you can get an idea from reading that topic. Feel free to contact us if you want ideas on how to do this.

Tristavius has been kind enough to supply us with an easy branding system for Phoenix ships:

Phoenix ship colors are:

White (any shade, but suggested you use a pure white (S 0 V 100) to wipe out camo patterns on heavy armor
Black (any shade)
Dark Blue - H 207 S 100 V -47

***As a member of Phoenix, you are not required to build ships to a certain paint scheme or put Phoenix logos on your ship. You are not discouraged from doing so, either.

SHIP SUBMISSIONS ---------------------------------------

- If you would like to build for the Phoenix Shipyards collection, let us know and give us a workshop link to your work and we will review it before adding the ship. You will be contacted as to whether or not your ship was accepted. If your ship was rejected, we will try to offer you advice to improving the design.

- If you would like your collection to be added as a "subsidiary corporation" to the primary Phoenix Shipyards collection, let us know. Please just ensure that your collection follows guidelines as posted above.
