Because this group wasn't here when Gunscape was started, I've got some catching up to do! If you've just started and/or haven't played in a while, this should get you back up to date on what's been added and what's being added.

Got word from Ben on the forums that one sign-in for multiple devices (for those who paid; you paid, didn't you?) is coming real soon. Exactly when hasn't been confirmed.

Also, not exactly of which has been confirmed, but some of these things below is being considered according to Ben; some stuff happening sooner than others. The list below isn't a hard list, and some of these things may not even happen at all. Take it with a grain of salt.

• Control Points ("1 thru Infinite Point Domination" and/or "3 thru 9 Point Push")
  
• Grates/Fences (blocks you can't go through but projectiles can)
  
• Time Limit option
  
• Limited Lives option (and with that, LMS)
  
• Spectating

...or lack thereof.

I lost internet at the moment that I was supposed to host, and I couldn't start the game. I apologise to all of the people who wanted to play that evening. Next week should go much, much smoother.

No Player of the Week, for obivious reasons.

Yes, you heard correctly. Because it's coming to consoles, it'd only make sense that Gunscape would get splitscreen, right?

The next build is getting splitscreen mode for both Crafting mode and Shooting mode (next version is coming really soon). In a later update, you're splitscreen session can go online as well! Up to four players on one machine, but you'll need gamepads for your friends. They have hinted at expirimenting with 8-player splitscreen, too!

Along with that, there'll be new blocks for you to use! Universal skybox, music, and light blocks are coming, which will change the skybox, the music, or the lighting for the whole level when it's touched.

Also, there's another important block which signifies that the game is approaching it's beta stages! Dialog blocks, which have been talked about since the launch of the alpha, will display any text you want when it's touched.

Wow, did our first game went great! Everyone kinda vanished about halfway in and everyone that wasn't a dev (hi ben and kyle!) had to use the normal build, so there were some rendering bugs, which will be fixed in the upcoming build. This build (according to hints dropped by Ben) is coming very soon. Also, there is the fact that only four people showed up. Despite all of this, it was certainly a blast!

There were a lot of us falling into the vaccum of space, rocket battles to the death (it often ended in a draw :P), and Chainguns being used as jetpacks.
