Newbie Trainer was founded in 1999 as a small Counter-Strike beta server. We have since grown into a large CSS-based gaming community that is host to a wide variety of players who all share a common mindset for a positive and mature gaming enviroment. The ages of our members range from the late teens all the way up to the later 70's (Gramps), and skillsets are equally as wide ranged- don't let the name 'Newbie Trainer' fool you.

Newbie Trainer is considered a PG rated community. We do not condone foul language, pornography, or instigating religious/political talk. We like to keep the game enjoyable for all who come here (aside from the trouble makers) which we like to believe helps set us apart from many other more chaotic communities. Newbie Trainer maintains a number of moderators to help meet these goals.

this group is almost as old as steam itself.

many of us have 20 year badges at this point.

we were originally a counterstrike clan, and throughout the years... our specific flavours of dedicated servers, forums and website kept us going for many, many years. Its safe to say, drifting from the dedicated server model as games progressed was mostly responsible for the "disburstment" of our old guild.

but here we are, literally decades after founding, and the NT group still has 310 members.

so, should we do something with this group?

what games are people playing?

i play mostly pubg now.. tiberium alliances tib 60, ill screw around in cod, and i might play the new CS.

Still kicking, I retired from law enfocement after 28 years last August. I am playing on the same sever with LongArm now FGA (Family Gamers Alliance) Fuzzy (my brother John) drops in once in a while.

I'm still alive!!!! I know I've seen quite a few NT members online and some not NT as well. Heard Recently that LG passed away though so that's sad :( ....
