Buying the crappy games, so you don't have to.

It wasn't too long ago that I would purchase games right as they were released, happily paying full price for something that, in all likelihood, I would be done with in a month. Additionally, those games would generally come up on sale within a year of release, often 75% off of what I paid.

Well, I'm sick of that, and now I only buy games months behind the big crowds, getting a better value of my hard earned $.

That's what this project is all about. I find a game that's a bit older, play through the full single player game (because I hate other people, so multiplayer is out), score it and tell you what I think it is actually worth, based on my experience.

I'm not being paid by the companies who's product I'm reviewing, I believe a 5 out of 10 is an average game, and I'm doing it to help you save money.

So before you buy that next game that comes up on a special sale, just double check if I've already covered it, because maybe that great price still isn't good enough.

Hey there! Couple of things. First, I've finally given up on Warframe, with the good news being I should finally get through more games, and more importantly, more reviews. Speaking of reviews, I finally got around to posting the one for XCOM and Crysis.

There is a little bit of bad news though, and that's that I am now 100% caught up, with ever game I have completed since I started doing reviews have a nice write up. There are a few I'd like to go back and do a video review for, but those take a lot of work, so you may not get anything new out of me until I finally finish a new game. I'm going around and around about a couple of titles I stopped playing in the middle, and it'll probably be Dishonored or Battleblock Theater next. We'll see what kind of free time I have as my life gets a little busy in the next few months, but if there is anything in particular you'd like to see next, just drop a comment in the group, and I'll see what I can do!

Hey there everyone! I know some of you have gotten used to the idea of me covering sales with my recommendations of what to buy. Unfortunately, I will be unavailable throughout much of this sale (10 days out of the 15 the sale is on for). That's a pretty good reason for me not being able to post on a regular basis, so I figure I'll just have to write this one off. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but you can still look through my list of reviews to see if one I've covered has come up.

I'm hoping to get a regular review or two up in the mean time, as I just completed Crysis last week, and still have XCOM almost ready to go (waiting for the enemy to take his turn). Otherwise, for a full sale review, you'll have to wait until the summer sale.
