Over the life of this group, it has become a sort of clan, albeit a small one. It has changed from the competitive team it was formed to be. Rather than try to reverse this change, I have decided to create a new, additional group called MoloTek Gaming. This new group will be dedicated to competitive play, while MoloTek as a clan will remain the casual environment it is now. Players can be members of both groups, or of only the group they enjoy most.

Membership in MoloTek Gaming will require a commitment to play and learn as a competitive team. No crazy commitments are needed, but members will be expected to be willing to occasionally practice tactics as a team, as well as play competitively together on a fairly regular basis (a couple times a week in summer most likely, or as the player is able). This team will also potentially participate in competitve leagues such as UGC, if the players wish to do so.

The clan side of MoloTek will not change much, if at all. Though the clan tag is different (MoloTek is now the competitive team), and the group is now public and open to any player, the feel will hopefully stay the same. These changes aren't intended to get rid of the clan feel, but rather to give interested players a competitive option.

Today an update was released regarding TF2 MatchMaking. If we still have people interested in competitive TF2, this would be a great opportunity to start working together as a team. The casual MM would be good for trying out new strats, while the competitve MM is an opportunity to test our abilities. If you are still interested, please reply to this announcement so that we can get team matches going.
I assume that there are some in this group who aren't interested in competitive play anymore, whether TF2 or CS:GO. If this is the case for you, please reply to this announcement saying so, so that I know not to expect you in future team matches.

We tried Discord in the past, and you guys seemed to like it. I had issues getting it to work, but have cleared them up. Aside from in-game comms, Discord will be our primary chat. Major announcements will still be posted here.

As far as I know, our entire TF2 squad either has or can easily get a comp. beta pass. With most spring breaks being this and next week, I would like to schedule a full-team game or a few games of comp. Please comment with the days and times that would work for you.
