Making TF2 a better place, one newbie at a time.

The Helper Initiative is a collective of TF2 players unsatisfied with the current situation of the TF2 Community that want to change things. While Community servers still exist (with some difficulties), the real problem is the facelessness and general lack of skill of public ("Valve") servers.

A Helper's goal is to aid any newbie that may be playing on these servers, by using both the chat and the voice chat, if a microphone is available.

• Using the Helper Message whenever joining a server\every now and then.
• Answering calmly to players asking questions.
• Being friendly.
• Gifting weapons to polite newbies.
• Starting interesting discussions in the voice chat.
• Redirecting newbies to the Helper Big List.
• Spamming the chat with the Helper Message.
• Getting angry at newbies for not understanding things.
• Spamming phrases such as "Get Rekt", "Uninstall the game", and the like with harmful intentions, either via typing or binds.
• Griefing in any way, shape, or form.
• Hacking, but that goes without saying.

• Be a Premium player.
