*As of 1/27/2019, the remaining GrimFortress server was shut down for many reasons, but mostly and ultimately due to the lack of constant and consistent souls being in the server.

Thus, the website, sourceban and HLstats are all also shut down, and there is no longer any reason for people to donate for Zombie+ perks, since there are no longer any servers for anyone to game in under the GrimFortress name.

Grim going to one server

Hey all you ghouls and creeps, due to lack of regular funding, we're shutting down all but the 2fort server. I plan on moving the player count to 32 as well. I'm also removing all admins and mods and letting the site run itself, with voting enabled to allow for actions to go with the popular vote.

I'm very sorry to do this, we've had a strong community for so long.

I also want to thank Haeclark especially for all her tireless efforts keeping the ball rolling for such a long time, we love you Haeclark! Also special mention to Potato for being there for such a long time and being able to count on.

Also thank you to all mods and admins, past and present - you know who you are.

I don't want a comment debate here - the decision has been made. Hopefully we will see some decent numbers on the 2fort server. We will never resort to ads to pay for the site, but if the 2fort numbers do well, we may start looking for Zombie subscriptions to sustain things.

Thanks again to everyone in the community for coming together and making something truly unique!
