Q: How did you come up with the name?
A: Easy, the owners' names. The Game and Boom Rainbow.

Q: How did you start off?
A: We made a server back in early-mid 2014. It blossomed and we officially made a community on October 24, 2014.

The Return of GB! New Discord!

Hey there guys.

So, as you know, GB has been down for quite some time, and I kid you not, I have been hammered non-stop as to when it would return. I said never. I said it wouldn't happen. Why? I didn't have time or the patience to run it. That was then.

That said, obviously, you have seen the title and expect GB to have HL2RP back up. Not yet, but soon. An announcement will be posted closer to when that arrives. In the meantime, we do have a Discord under construction that you can join to start getting to know other members, share roleplay tips, talk about stuff, whatever!

Q: What framework are you using? Nutscript? Clockwork?
A: We are using Helix as our framework, but a lot of the code has been modified by the team. Helix was originally based on Nutscript, so a lot of code was relatively easier to port over to work with Helix.

Q: Will my characters from before carry over?
A: Unfortunately not. Due to database things + giving a fresh start, we will not be carrying over characters from the old GB. This includes staff and development.

Q: Can I apply for staff?
A: Our team will look for suitable members when the time is right. Simply applying means nothing if you do not show that you will be a valuable asset to the team.

Q: Can I be a developer?
A: See the above question.

Q: Did I just lose The Game?
A: Yes you did.

Q: Where is the forums?
A: We will be using the official GB Discord for now. In the future, we may bring the website back but that is to be determined.
