First of all, thanks to everyone who participated in our game times during saturday.
Sadly, all in all it did not quite work out the way I expected, maybe because of some organisatory flaws of mine.
By default, I'm trying to be ingame during these hours myself or at least be online in steam for any kind of support but (ironically during this first game times) I had some private RL issues, so I could not manage to show up.
I will still try to establish some proper, yet experimental, game times .
In a not so distant future we will have a general voting for public-friendly game hours if needed, where you get to choose your favourite times.

That was for the more or less bad news, the good ones is that an once thought lost server found its way back into the server list ;
GrillJane's server is up again ! After a short talk with GrillJane, he updated his server to the 5.02 version and got it up and running again =) As you may already know, GrillJanes is the best choice for european players, hosting up to 16 players with a relative stable ping. It's very likely we will work together with GrillJane in the future to ensure a good play for everyone, also aside the game hours.

Also, the infamous ChromeAngel from the Ex2RS dev team is now officially a group admin, being the second admin besides me. Chrome will help me mainly with schedules and share his valuable experience on Ex2/steam and server mangement as well as lending me a helping hand from time to time.
I'm sure chrome will inspire my work even more then he already did =)

When the group member number reaches a certain (undefined) point, I will appoint another 2 or 3 admins. Everyone who is an ethusiastic Ex2 fan and is willing to sacrifice some of his free time for the group will be taken into account.
Also I search for other supporters and contributers, people who can host games or have the proper means to set up game servers. So if you can support the team in any way, tell me. I appreciate every possible help I can get.

By the way: If you ever feel the urge to play Ex2 and have some time, just try joining our group chat.
I'm sure you will sooner or later find someone to play, just be patient and everything will just work out fine...

Hi folks,
I've decided to give it a first try and thus I announce the first official game days +times : this weekend, Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th .
Based on how much players will participate, I will make further decisions concerning the group organisation and post an experimental schedule. There will be game times for some workdays and (for now) for the weekends. You all will be able to vote whether you like the times or if we should discard them altogether, of course you are free to tell me right now what times you wish for . Just leave me a comment and I'll look what I do for you.

So, If you've read through all this, this is the schedule for the first game days .

For all european players :
Saturday, 17:00 - 19:00 (GMT +1)
Sunday, 16:30 - 19:00 (GMT +1)

For our american and canadian players its :
Saturday, 5 PM - 7 PM (GMT -8)
Sunday, 4 PM-7 PM (GMT -8)

We play @ Chromes server, I'm sure it will be enough for now.

Hi folks !
As you may have already remarked, the number of players in the open public is rather scarce.
After the release of the 5.01 Version, which a lot of people did not even realize, most of the players did not manage to keep up and thus weren't able to play anymore on any server. The result was, of course, a quick decline of open games and later the chancellation of service from several Ex2 providing servers.
I, for myself, found it extremly annoying that I couldn't play this great mod anymore. Open games with at least some players were just too infrequent to be worth searching for.
So now after the release of 5.02, I took the opportunity to found this group in order to keep the playing community alive and healthy. Some enthusiasts noticed the release and started to play, so the next logically step is to keep them on track .
That way I hope we keep up the interest of all fans and ensure that everyone who wants to play this great game CAN actually play it ;)

So you're welcome to help the group in any way you might think of. We will announce so-called "game days" and "game hours" shortly, so everyone will be aware of times when there will be enough players online to make it worth playing. Also I look for people who are interested in becoming co-admin or mod, I will tell you more on this matter later though.

In the meantime, be sure to pay us a visit and have a great time playing !
