Some of you might have noticed a small bug with Ex_digsite, and by small, I mean 10 FPS in any corner of that god forsaken map.

Not to fear, after much rage and hate mail towards Chrome, he spilled the secret, secret beans on how to fix it.

If you are affected by the Digsite Time Anomally, then do as follows:

1: Open your EX folders (steam>steamapps>sourcemods>ex>maps)
2: Buy a live chicken to sacrfice to the Blood God (The most important part of this fix)
3: Inside the maps folder, there should be a Soundcache folder, Delete it
4: Test Digsite, if its fixed, you can empty you're recycle bin.
5: ???
6: Profit!

If on the small chance your PC catches on fire after playing Digsite, Then A: tell us about it here and B: No, we wont replace anything.

Hi folks,
Chrome sent word to me that the next version (5.05) will be presumeably launched this Friday, at approximately BST midnight time .
He is all busy packing the installer and making the last cuts, so let's have a short glimpse on what 5.05 brings us in the meantime...

5.05 includes the long awaited rework on the Trope . With a significant boost in movement speed and a new attack which replaces the current melee right-click, Chrome intends to make the trope a overly powerful Tier 3 class that can compete with the SM's Heavy .
Didn't you prefer picking Lictor and Fex over Trope though you reached those 108 points required ? Now Nid players will finally have the feeling having a good Tier 3 choice that is worth spending the points for.

A lot of maps have been reworked greatly. Based on the experience of players regarding some problem-locations and annoying map features (i.e. uncapable objectives, places where marines are constantly camping), Typheron made some very good changes that significantly improved the particular map balances .

Also a complete new map, ex_nic, will be presented in the upcoming version. It is a great mass-on-mass map and looks well in terms of style and balance, so I'm eager to try it out with you all. =)

Last thing to mention... I know you're eagerly waiting for them, but I'm sorry to dissapoint you: 5.05 will have no Termies or Genestealers.
I will make an announcement about what halts the production and what we as the community can do to speed up the process soon, but you can be sure the Devs work tirelessly to bring you those classes as fast as possible ;)

This all needs some zealous testing, of course, so be sure to join our 5.05 launch party this upcoming Saturday and Sunday, each starting at 7:00 PM [GMT+1].
Volkov assured me he will update his Server (big thanks to him) to 5.05 sometime in the early morning, so we will heed for Volkov's

UPDATE: Sorry for dissappointing you, but I made a little mistake here : The new map is not yet included in the pub version , but if you really want to try it, you may contact me or typh. You must be reliable though, because only trustworthy alpha-testers will get their hands on the maps.

Although they aren't finished yet, it would be awesome playing TF2 as a space marine. :)

As part of a Drive to get more content into RS2:Ex I am working on new maps that will require alpha stage testing before they are properly included into the mod.

Now as it stands we have a total lack of Testers so after speaking with Chromeangel it has been decided that you the public will get to join me in testing them.

So if you want a look at the up-coming map content then keep an eye out for further announcements relating to times.

Thats right, 150 members! With each member we gain, this great mod gets more support. Let's keep it going guys, make sure to turn any friends that love Warhammer onto this mod, and maybe even friends that don't know about it! As well, if anyone would like to help, I hear the dev team would love some. From some mapping help to animating, extra support never hurts.

As well, hey everyone! I am convict, and I just got admin temporarily, while I am watched to see if I am worthy of helping out around here :P I plan on playing with you all a lot more, and I am debating a good time to host a weekly game for us U.S. players! I think Sunday would work well, for myself at least, but I could use some suggestions to know when everyone is usually available.
