forget the steam presence, they totally botched it. dont even install the steam version at all, get the official launcher.

@patryn36 I just had to do a fresh install from a hard-drive which had downloaded it from the Eve website. Since I just found out that it was trying to launch from a 32bit file when Steam and Eve are both installed under my 64-bit programs.

- Advice

Either Launch the eve.exe from the Steam folder inside your 64-bit Program Files OR Redownload and have it not involve Steam.
