It has been about a month since my decision to close down Elite Marine Patriots and I felt the need to give it proper closure. This team and community at one time meant more to me than I can explain. I've made more friends here than any other point of my life, and the great moments will remain with me.

Starting with Call of Duty 1 back in 2005 with a school friend. By the end of the first couple days we had grown to a team of 5 while running a server on my home connection. Pings were trash and we didn't care. This carried on for a while till I had the money to rent a proper server.
Once we were set up, things got going quickly.

By 2007 we had a stable team across multiple games with 40+ members and nearly 100 total come and go within that period. Recruitment processes changed to be more of a mind game. Putting a single player against multiple EMP members to test how they worked under pressure and see how far they could be pushed. Finding those who don't break in tough situations or bail out from frustration was not easy but lead to a stronger team that worked very well together and brought long-lasting friendships.
Through the rest of the years, life happened (school, jobs, loss of interest, etc.), and the team dwindled down to a handful of people where we remained till recently.

Unfortunately, after over 17 years the decision had to be made for reasons I will not discuss. Its time had come & I will leave it at that. Instead, I bring an invitation. To anyone looking for a new group to game with or just chill. Mostly on the weekends cause we got jobs and stuff.
