This Great Nation shall be reborn this Glorious Canada Day! As our new Minister of the Press, it is my privilege to put forth such a publication of the rebirth of the nation. Through wise administration from the Imperial Family and the Imperial Cabinet (Which still needs to be formed) we shall bring our glorious nation back to life to expand the l'Empereur's realm to greater steps of glory, greatness, and honour. For too long have we dwindled into a blank, lifeless Empire of silence. His Majesty and His lawful government shall change that. New acts and events shall be organized to best suit the realm and its needs for its lively-hood back. We are known in neighboring states as a joke, a failed people, who are no longer loyal, productive citizens of these grand Rolling plains, Massive mountain highs, rich forested hills, and the icy tundra. So let us change that, togeather! Nobles, l'Empereur, lords and sirs, serfs and plebs, commoners alike shall all be united, for the glory of our realm and Empereur -- to lash off the shackles of silence. A new and more informative and active, zealous nation is what can turn this around. Let us all join in spirit and in mind for the rebirth of the Empire!

On this day in 1885, Louis Riel died. He was the founder of our province of Manitoba.

Today is also remebered for the Drownings at Nantes which were a series of mass executions by drowning during the Reign of Terror in Nantes, France for being anti revolutionary which took place in 1793-1794. Nearly 4000 or more died including innocent families with women and children.

We now have a new Imperial Standard! Huzzah!
