~ Reviving Oldschool Servers ~ Veteran Community

Thanks to players KG and ULTRA for the biggest financial support through out the last year. We wouldnt make it without them. Also thanks to all supporters that donated even 1 USD. I appriciate that.

Now we went from 1. 1. 2019 when I with Zmrzlik revived old school ClanWars Dodgebal server that goes back to 2010. And we succeeded. Every day there were 40 players online on 2 dodgeball servers. The community was thriving thanks to us. We worked really hard to form the community with endless hours of inviting players to play on our servers. It was a success.

the next stage, when dodgeball was slowly but surely dying off, was CS:GO old school rules Jailbreak. This was a hit too, but was too hard to maintain. It requires 24/7 monitoring by admins and solving all sorts of conflicts with complex paragraph rules. Not a joke, really. But we had a blast. It was fun. But we deleted it, because again. It was hard to get players to play on such small server.

Final stage is DM DUEL. This is the best success I have seen. From 1st week of creating this server, we filled it to full. Holy fuck. And since then it is full each day every day no matter the slots. There is something to this map that people dig.

As a interesting fact: for all this time running servers we have invested in countless hours of developlment, community management and advertisement. You might think: "Oh, but you make so much money from it". Well hell no, this is not profitable business in the least. Our server contains children with not money to spend :D. We spent around $600. Thankfully we had bunch of donations and supporters over the time. So it did not hurt as much.

Lets be real. I really wanted to stop the DUEL recently. I didnt play there, I didnt care much and even forgot to pay for hosting once so it did shut down for brief moment. Neglected it so much I wanted to stop wasting money. But then people told me it is still full of players and even KG offerd to pay the ful price. So ye it is not ending any time soon. I promise :D
