I have this problem too with Logitech G25. It's what happens when Steam doesn't understand that pedals at rest are at the far end of the axis! It's been this way forever. Dear Steam, please fix this.

A gaming platform should be compatible with common controllers. If you don't know what is the rest position for controller axes, please don't use them for navigation without giving the means to change the behaviour.

(Note: I submitted a support ticket about this and only got told to come here to complain about it. Well, here I am. Please fix it.)

Ok. I am not alone. Thank you for the post. I know it is not a terrible issue but it would be nice if they can adjust it and I don't think it is so difficult to do that. At the moment for this issue I prefer to use it with PlayStation. If this will not be solved soon I am forced to wait for Dirt Rally on PS4

Have had this problem with my G27, which I could at least get around by binding the controls in BPM settings, even though I tended to have to do it every time I restarted my PC.

Switched to a T500RS though, and I can't seem to bind any controls for it, so stuck with that constant down pressing too until I can get to my pedals. Shame that it's been this way for so many years.

It happens the same to me, I was thinking that I had a defective unit, but I see that is a steam issue. I have a G29 btw.
