A gaming platform should be compatible with common controllers. If you don't know what is the rest position for controller axes, please don't use them for navigation without giving the means to change the behaviour.
(Note: I submitted a support ticket about this and only got told to come here to complain about it. Well, here I am. Please fix it.)
Switched to a T500RS though, and I can't seem to bind any controls for it, so stuck with that constant down pressing too until I can get to my pedals. Shame that it's been this way for so many years.
