The Ultimate Payday Experience.

Big Payday is a group formed to connect all Payday: players who are interested in competitive play, or just looking to find people to play with. Because the group has just been revived, the team formats and structure hasn't been finalized, but if you want to play competitive when things get going, post a comment saying so, and we'll have tryouts soon enough. Also, if you would like to be a team captain, also say so in the comments.

Otherwise just chill for now, and we'll get our Big Payday soon enough.

Construction Plans

Okay guys, so for those who are still in the group and are interested in helping out, I've come up with some major "projects" to take care of so that we may get on our feet.

1. Publicity

We need more people, and we need more people who will actively participate in the group. If you guys have any PAYDAY compadres who might be interested, tell them about the group and see if they want to join in.

2. Team System

Ok, so there's a lot of work to do here. We need managers, players, and we need to figure out how competitions will work. The latter of those will be solved by contemplation on my part, but if there are people who want to manage a team, or play in a team, add and message me on steam to talk to me.

3. Competitive matches

I've thought about how these are going to look, and here are some ideas:

a. We either have a team of 3, and the other 1 person is a moderator who spectates and ensures the team is playing fairly. Otherwise, we could stick with 4 players, and just have the captain take a screenshot of the ending screen. HINT: PAYDAY NEEDS A SPECTATE OPTION. ;)

b. The matches would first be determined as stealth or loud, and we could determine where the team would be forced to go loud.

c. Secondly, in stealth, we could have the criteria as time, lowest collateral damage, most bags, etc.

d. For loud, we could have accuracy, least downs, most kills, etc.

e. Something tells me that we might have problems with people stealthing up right until the end, then go loud right before they finish, and the captain takes the screenshot and says, "No, we were loud the whole time!". I'm going to ask Almir to add a spectate option or something of the sort.

f. I also understand that certain maps have variables that may make competitive play unfair, this deserves more contemplation and perhaps suggestions from you guys, although this is not too much of a pressing issue.

Okay, so that's everything for now. If you guys want this group to grow, get your friends in here! If there's anything you guys want to talk to me about, feel free to add me and talk to me anytime. Also, make a forum in the discussions if there's anything worth talking about.

Yo guys, Katana here, I'm thinking its about time that this group gets kickstarted back up again. I think, despite all of the unique facets about the heists in Payday 2, that we can make Big Payday work.

This means dedication on my time, which since it is summer I have plenty, and also dedication from those who want to make it work.

This group can be tons of fun, and there are so many possibilities that we can explore. Competitive events, casual play, tournaments for prizes, etc. can all be made.
