A decision has been taken as a nation to join the Consilium Nationis Victorian Era tier. This tier looks like a good chance for us to get back into rping and active again.This will however mean massive changes in the way our group is run. The nation houses will be removed along with the economics system. This is because we need to fit in line with the tier economics system which will allow us to grow and develop in the tier. I ask you all to support this move by our nation and be active in this period of transition.

Factories from 400 to 1.2 million

Mines from 200 to 800 thousand

Ports from 900 to 1.8 million

Markets changed to 900 thousand

Barracks changed to 1.2 million

Everything else will remain the same for now.

All of the seven houses will now be able to rank up,improving their dominance in the empire and image. This is done through the ranking system. Each house will start with 12 million pounds in funding to improve the regions and lands they own. The house lords will have the ability to construct factories, roads, ports, mines, labour housing, food markets, ships (only for trading).
When constructing these, the house lords must tell the King which region they are constructing it in and any trading opperations require a license which can only be bought from the Royal Bank of The United People's Empire. The bank will also be allowed to give out loans to houses.Warning ALL LOANS ARE PAID BACK WITH INTEREST.

The way houses increase their rank is by getting rank points. To gain 1 point the house must spend 1 million in investment for the empire. To reach the next level (2) houses must gain 100 points. To get the next level the requirement is increased by 100 points and so on until level 10.

The tax rates have been set and everyone must pay their tax on time,failure to do so will result in a punishment with charges of failure to pay tax which has a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison

Also the government had decided that new foreign investment setting up in our lands will get a freeze in the industry and land tax for a year.The metal industry and railways industry will both get a subsidy of £2 milllion to boost production.
Export of "key resources" will be banned for the next 10 years but for metal exports to Japan. Gun production will become government owned and the iron industry has been bought by the government. New firms and industry setting up in our lands will recieve tax credits.
